200 Volunteers Needed!

Every August, 100 campers, with and without special needs, ages 3-21, attend Christian Disciple Farm. More than 200 volunteers are needed to help serve these campers and their families. Volunteers are needed to assist children, teens and young adults with special needs, lead activities, serve lunch and much more.

More Info for Volunteers

The Christian Disciple Farm is a great opportunity for volunteers to participate in a very rewarding program. Due to the outdoor setting of this camp and the special needs of the children, there is a large need for volunteers. We expect 100 campers each year. There are many jobs available, but the most rewarding job is being a "buddy" to a child  with special needs.  "Buddies" facilitate the children so that they get the most out of their camp experience. For more information about being a "buddy" and all the  jobs available at camp click here.

The day camp takes place Monday through Friday from 9 am - 2:20 pm at Raspberry Hill Farm. This is a private farm located about halfway between Madison and Milwaukee near the town of Sullivan. It has 41 beautiful acres of woods, fields, and a fishing pond. Lunch is provided daily for campers and volunteers. There is no cost to volunteer at the camp. However, if you stay overnight with the other volunteers at Jefferson County Fairgrounds as a part of the festival, there is a fee.

The Christian Disciple Festival is a unique Christian immersion experience designed to work in conjunction with Christian Disciple Farm. Volunteers camp out at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.  It is designed primarily for our Christian Disciple Farm youth and young adult volunteers (ages 14-24), although all ages are welcome.

After volunteering at the camp during the day, volunteers that choose to stay at the Christian Disciple Festival will have the opportunity to participate in afternoon activities followed by dinner, worship, small group discussions, and late night games.  Afternoon activities include canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, disc golf, volleyball, craft projects, and many more..
